Copying will only make people see another persons work and thoughts rather than have a feel of you as the writer, therefore, this will be hard for you to develop your career. You need to do your work that even when there will be nowhere to copy, you will still have an idea of what to do.

Original owners of the information do not get the credit they deserve. Writers since they are copying from different sources, their work tends to be sloppy and not neat like an original piece.

Work stolen should be avoided at all costs, if you have to copy, you should cite the owners work or adhere to the rules given by the instructor since some accept copying but to a certain percent.
